Perl scripts for standard IPCop.

Hi all and congratulations for such a nice project and website. Certainly another reference site.

I'm a IPCop long time user and addicted and always have struggled to have a perfectly working add-on of a LCD display. No luck.

I wonder if the PERL scripts described on another post would also work on regular PC based IPCop boxes and/or your compiled LCDproc or LCD4Linux too.

The perl script is not Raqcop specific. In fact Bob Fisch from the French IPCop community gets the credit. We won't take any credit unless we get the Cobalt buttons working by adding to it.

As far as LCD4linux and LCDproc, Tom's addons should work since both programs use out of kernel stuff so no need to get from me. Both can be daunting to configure even after you know it will work.
